The domain
Created in the 90s, the Mas des Jeux owes its name to its founder Mr. Alain Drivon. As a former croupier and casino manager, this famous phrase “place your bets” will never leave him. A family estate, passionate about the Camargue and in love with its soil, this small family farm, located in the very heart of the Camargue in an exceptional natural environment, strives to produce an organic wine, whose grape varieties are essentially composed of Merlot, Grenache, Viognier and Carignan. Today his daughter, Laura, has taken over the mangement of the estate.
The wines
White GPI Sable de Camargue using 100% Viognier
With a 100% Viognier grape a pale gold color and a nose with aromas of pear, fresh apricot and lemon reveal an ampleand gourmand and fruity mouth.
This wine will perfectly match as an aperitif, with fish, zarzuela, and cheeses.
Red GPI Sable de Camargue
A 100% Merlot that offers a ruby color, strawberry and spice aromas and a supple palate with fine tannins perfectly characterizes this Merlot-dominant wine. Drink now or keep it a while.
It will be sublime with charcuterie, grilled bull ribs, cheeses.
Gris GPI Sable de Camargue
A blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Merlot, 10% Carignan
This Gris is characterized by a pale salmon color, a very fine nose with aromas of clementine, white peach and red berries, a delicate mouth, elegant and slightly acidic. To enjoy as an aperitif, summer salads, paellas, grilled meast, stuffed squid, grilled fish
